Status update on BerlinNFTQuiz

It’s time to give an update on the status of the BerlinNFTQuiz project. It’s now fully operational, meaning there’s not only a presence on Instagram, Threads, and Facebook, but also a significant collection of NFTs. Over 30 photos have been published so far and are included in the Berlin Street Lights collection on Opensea (This is where all photos go, after a weekly or more frequent quiz is finished.). In addition, another presence on Pinterest has been established.

To be honest, it would be great if the reach were higher, but that was to be expected. Instagram guidelines recommend publishing two posts per day to start with. But to achieve the desired result, you need to have a foundation first, and that’s what we have now. However, the effort involved should always be considered, at least in creating and editing the images. Well, we’ll see.

All in all, it’s definitely an interesting journey. There are many opportunities to try out new things, from blockchain-based social networks like Zora to animating published photos using image-to-video and AI. Some of these experiments can also be seen on the Instagram account. And yes, since quite a bit has come together, there will be occasional posts about them here on the blog in the future. Below are two videos, an AI animation of a photo, and an album with photos 1-10 from the Berlin Street Lights collection.

The starting image of the video above is the original photo, which shows Oderberger Strasse. This was animated using Image to Video, using the free version of PixVerse.

The following video shows photos 01-10 from the Berlin Street Lights collection. (Once again, all links to the project at Linktree.)
