Welcome to BerlinNFTQuiz. This is a new project that is directly related to NFTs but only indirectly related to the title of this website. But let’s see where it goes.
BerlinNFTQuiz is a competition in which the winners receive an free NFT. The names of the places shown in the photos must be guessed. The first to correctly name the location will receive the photo as a free NFT.. For legal reasons, a few rules and conditions of participation are required, which are listed below. The rules describe the process and are also intended to exclude possible conflicts and misunderstandings.
Rules, Conditions of Participation and Data Protection
- BerlinNFTQuiz posts a photo of a place in Berlin at weekly or irregular intervals. Whoever is the first to mention the correct name of the place in a comment on the post on Instagram will receive the photo for free as an NFT. Currently, the first five people with the correct answers will receive the NFT.
- The correct answer must be given no later than seven days after the post is published. If there is no correct answer, the NFT will still be created and the organizer will remain the owner of the photo NFT.
- All NFT photos are published via an account at Opensea in a collection called “BerlinStreetLights” and can be viewed there.
- The prerequisite for participation is a wallet on the part of the participant on which the Polygon blockchain is set up. In order to receive a won NFT, the winner must be reachable via private message on Instagram. This is typically done by following the accounts. If a winner is contacted, the wallet address must be provided in the reply for the purpose of transferring the NFT. Alternatively, the wallet address can be entered in the comment on the guessed location.
- Participants must ensure that participation in the competition is legal in their home country. These rules are based on the organizer’s headquarters in Germany. The minimum age requirement in Germany is 14 years.
- Legal recourse is excluded. The service is provided to the best of our knowledge and belief. However, if the transfer of an NFT is not possible for any reason, there is no entitlement to the prize. The same applies if there are doubts when determining the winners.
- Data protection: No personal data is required to participate. Data is generated solely by the systems used and is not stored separately by the competition organizer. Participants are responsible for the data they provide.
- We reserve the right to make changes to these rules in order to adapt the competition if necessary. Examples would be a high level of participation and the expansion of the prizes, the frequency of posts, the number of days until a correct answer is received, new rules if multiple correct answers are received or even the discontinuation of the competition.
- The organizer, as stated in the imprint, is solely responsible for the service. In accordance with Instagram’s rules, it must be explicitly stated that the competition is organized independently of Instagram and that Instagram neither sponsors, supports nor organizes this competition. Organizers and participants release Instagram from any responsibility for this competition.
